Parent-managed use

A parent or legal guardian must create and control the account, provide accurate account information, manage child profiles and purchases, and supervise children's use. Children may use the listening experience only through a parent-managed account. At registration, the parent or guardian must explicitly accept the complete processing described in the Privacy Policy; declining prevents account use, and a policy change requires renewed consent. Keep sign-in credentials secure and tell support promptly about suspected unauthorised access.

The service

StoryWeaver provides family-oriented story discovery, streaming, offline downloads, generated stories, narration, artwork, profile controls, and optional Alexa access where separately enabled. Features, catalogue titles, narrators, and compatible devices may change. We may update, replace, or remove content where needed for safety, rights, reliability, legal requirements, or service quality.

Parent content and generated output

The parent keeps ownership of drawings, ideas, and other material they submit. The parent gives StoryWeaver a limited licence to host, copy, moderate, transform, and send that material to the types of service providers described in the Privacy Policy solely to operate and improve the requested feature. Do not submit material you lack permission to use or material that is unlawful, abusive, exploitative, infringing, or unsafe for children.

AI-generated stories, artwork, and narration can be inaccurate, repetitive, unexpected, or unavailable and are not professional, educational, medical, or safety advice. Automated and human safeguards may reject, review, remove, or regenerate content. A parent remains responsible for reviewing custom content before a child uses it.

Subscriptions and support

The free preview includes 3 story listens each month. Premium unlocks the full listening library, offline downloads, and a monthly custom-story allowance shown in the service.

Monthly and annual Premium products are auto-renewable subscriptions. The exact price, currency, duration, trial or offer, and renewal date shown by the App Store at purchase are authoritative for that storefront. Apple charges the Apple Account and renews the subscription automatically unless it is cancelled through Apple before renewal. Purchases, renewals, restores, cancellations, refunds, and payment-method changes are managed through Apple. Deleting a StoryWeaver account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Premium access depends on a current, verified subscription. Access may continue during a valid billing grace or retry period, and ends when the subscription expires, is revoked, or is refunded. If a purchase is not recognised, use Restore purchases in Parent Zone or contact support.

Web subscriptions, if offered, are processed under the price and renewal terms shown at checkout. Purchase, restore, cancellation, support, and account questions can be sent to StoryWeaver support.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to bypass parent controls or limits, probe or disrupt systems, scrape or redistribute the catalogue, reverse engineer protected components, impersonate another person, or use the service to create or distribute unlawful or harmful content. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect children, users, providers, rights holders, or the service.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to provide a reliable service but internet access, third-party providers, App Store services, and generated features can fail or be interrupted. Offline access requires a completed download and may stop when your subscription or our rights to provide the content end. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, StoryWeaver is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss caused by use of, or inability to use, the service.

Privacy, deletion, and ending use

The Privacy Policy explains data handling, service providers, international processing, retention, rights, and account deletion. Parents can initiate deletion from Parent Zone. Deleting your account signs you out and disconnects Sign in with Apple, or provides instructions if an older connection cannot be disconnected automatically. We may end or suspend an account for a serious or repeated breach, legal requirement, or safety risk; where appropriate, we will provide notice and a way to contact support.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. Material changes will receive a new effective date and, where appropriate, notice in the service. Questions can be sent to StoryWeaver support at support [at] story-book.app.
